Lauren Kleinschmidt

Lauren was born in Austin, Texas. She graduated as Valedictorian of Lexington High School in 2006, received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 2010, and a degree of Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2014. Lauren was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2014 and is currently a member of the Lee County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Lauren began practicing law in Giddings on September 15, 2014. Her areas of experience* include real estate, oil and gas, creation of business entities, wills, probate, trusts, estate and asset protection planning, collections, banking and acting as local counsel for non-resident law firms.

Lauren's father, Tim Kleinschmidt, was an attorney in Lee County for over 30 years and served as District 17 State Representative in the Texas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015, while her mother, Anna Kleinschmidt, has worked as a pharmacist for over 30 years. Lauren was raised in Lee County and is the only attorney currently practicing in Giddings from the north half of the county. Lauren helps her father Tim on their ranch and enjoys travelling, ballroom dancing, painting, snowboarding and trying new recipes.
